Trading in Green.... Trading in Red....

Recently smone asked me: "How is trading like... I alwis read abt those Newspaper advers abt Forex Courses... LOCK IN PROFIT... only 15mins a day... become Financially Free! Is it true?"

I took a rather deep breath... swallowed hard... before i drop the bomb on her...

"It's tough like shit!"

Maybe I should be less straight forward....  But the truth is this...
Somehow what I experienced on Friday was something familiar... like I was sailing on a Patrol...

I have never really slept when I was sailing during a Patrol duty. I merely rested... whenever I can feel a sudden rav in the ship's engine (my cabin is in the lower deck u see), I will make a call up the bridge (where the guys are on duty keeping watch)... I will just ask if everything is ok, sudden movements usually dun mean good news... mayb to avoid some traffic, to get away from traffic etc. - esp at nite (there are just so many unlit little sampans out fishing n they come out in gangs, trawling their nets along the way... these can get caught in the propellers etc.

Anyway, my point is this... I NEVER sleep onboard. Last friday, I had a Open trade position, it is in the Greens ($$$+ve)... but I wanna get more since I am already in it. i had to set alarms at 1, 2, 3 and 3.45am (close US mkt closes at 4am SIN n i wanna close it b4 the weekend)... so in the midst of my blurr-ness... I manual closed  my position. Meaning: I pocketed the $$$$, but there is a possibility that I can Pocket More if I didnt Blur Blur-ly close it off prematurely!

Before I closed off my position, I merely REST-ed... couldnt really sleep actually.... cos I was subconsciously thinking abt my position. My mind is still re-enacting the procedures, the entry, the exit, the charts n Candles etc....
I have been asked many times: "Is Trading Stressful?!"
My reply will alwis be: "You BET!"

I woke up on Saturday morning feeling rather tired but pleased with my winning trade... I dun blog much abt winning trades if you notice, cos they are fewer n of cos, i am alittle Pan-Dang, dun wanna break the M-A-G-I-C...


Anyway, I just wanna say that I really LOVE my Orange MePhone! YAY! So much convenience! Except that Battery-Not-Enough! Hahah!
